FAQ about Skovbrynet

If you have not received your confirmation per email, shortly after you have made the reservation, please be aware that it may have ended up in junk/spam. If it can't be found there either, send us an email at booking@faarup.dk or call +459673 9207 and we'll be ready to help you.

Two days before your arrival, you will receive an email from Fårup Sommerland with your tickets to the park. The tickets can either be printed out, but can also just be shown on the phone so that the staff in the ticket offices can scan them from there.

NOTE: If you have booked several units, you will receive an email per unit with tickets for each unit.

You can easily book a stay at Skovbrynet without tickets to Fårup Sommerland. When you make your booking, simply deselect entrance tickets to the park. Please note, however, that it is only possible to get a 20% discount on the entrance ticket to the park if this is purchased when you make your booking for Skovbrynet. It is therefore not possible to get a 20% discount on the entrance ticket if you want to buy entrance tickets to the park after you have made your booking for Skovbrynet.

When you book our apartments, cabins and glamping tents, it is not possible to book a stay without tickets. There will always be tickets that correspond to the number of opening days that are in Fårup Sommerland in connection with the stay. For example a two nights' stay includes entry for three days in Fårup. Unless of course you have a season ticket.

Pitches at our campsites can be booked without tickets. However, an additional option can be made to buy tickets when you book a pitch - in order to obtain the discount on tickets purchased through the booking, the tickets must be purchased when the reservation is made - it is therefore not possible to obtain the discount by selecting additional tickets later.

Check-in for cabins, glamping tents, and apartments is from 15:00, and for pitches, it is from 11:00.

If you have purchased tickets to Fårup Sommerland, you are welcome to visit the amusement park from its opening time. Car and luggage can be parked either at Fårup Camping or at Fårup Sommerland.

Check-out is at 10:00 for cabins, glamping tents, apartments, and pitches.

It is only in our glamping tents that linen packs are always provided upon arrival. The linen pack includes a sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase, and towels (50*70 cm and 70*140 cm).

For all other units, it is possible to rent linen packs, which will be in the unit upon your arrival.

For cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival, the full package price will be refunded, minus a 300 DKK administration fee. The amount will be calculated and a confirmation will be sent to the provided email address.

The money will be transferred electronically to the card used for payment.

For cancellations made between 30 and 8 days before arrival, 50% of the package price will be refunded, minus a 300 DKK administration fee. The amount will be calculated and a confirmation will be sent to the provided email address.

The money will be transferred electronically to the card used for payment. For cancellations made less than 8 days before arrival, no refund will be given.

If you wish to change your booking to another period, this can be done for an administration fee of 300 DKK. However, the change must be made no later than 8 days before your original arrival date. If you move your stay to a more expensive period/accommodation type, the difference must be paid, and if you move it to a cheaper period/accommodation type, the difference will be refunded.

At Skovbrynet, of course parking is free.

If you rent a pitch, the pitch area is also intended for parking your own car.

Driving on the site is not allowed from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM. During this time, the gate to the site will be closed.

When driving on the site, please be aware that there are children and other playful souls around, so drive at a maximum speed of 15 km/h.

At Fårup Sommerland, there is an opportunity to charge your electric car if you have entrance tickets to the park.

At Skovbrynet, there is a small playground with a bouncy cushion, a kiosk, a laundry room, two communal kitchens, and two buildings with toilet and shower facilities. Additionally, there is a common room with a pool table, foosball, and table tennis. By one of the kitchens, there are also two grills, which you are very welcome to use.

The kitchens do not have utensils such as pots and pans.

Kitchen, toilet, and shower facilities are checked and cleaned daily. However, please remember to tidy up after yourselves when using the communal facilities so that everything is neat and clean for the next guests.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge your electric car at Skovbrynet, but it is possible in the parking lot at Fårup Sommerland – however, you must have entrance tickets to Fårup to use these chargers.

Not far! A charming 500-meter path connects Skovbrynet and Fårup Sommerland. Therefore, you can easily move back and forth between the campsite and the amusement park if you have an entrance ticket to the park.

Final cleaning of apartments, cabins, and glamping tents is included in the price.

However, please note that you are responsible for removing all trash, doing the dishes, emptying the refrigerator, and removing the bed linen and placing it by the door. We reserve the right to send an invoice of 500 DKK if this is not done upon departure.

The family dog is more than welcome at Skovbrynet. There is just a cleaning surcharge of 250 DKK when you bring your dog to our cabins, apartments, and glamping tents.

Please remember to inform us in advance if you are bringing your dog.

All stays at Skovbrynet, whether you stay in an apartment, cabin, glamping tent, or on a pitch, include electricity. Skovbrynet is not liable for damaged cables or any damages resulting from power outages.

However, electricity is metered and billed separately for long-term residents and for stays during the spring and autumn seasons.

At Skovbrynet, we accept Euros, but only in cash and we do not accept bills over 200 Euros. You will receive change in Danish currency.

If you arrive at Skovbrynet during the kiosk's opening hours, you will receive a site map in the kiosk, where your pitch/unit is marked.

If you arrive outside the kiosk's opening hours, there will be a basket in the entrance area of the kiosk with an envelope containing the name of the person who booked the pitch. Inside the envelope, you will find a map indicating your pitch/unit. If you are staying in one of our permanent units, the key to it will also be in the envelope.
